Think custard, and substitute the milk with coconut milk, sugar with jaggery and add more than just a few cardamoms; and you would have what is our absolute favourite Sri Lankan dessert, Watalappan. One bite of Watalappan, and you would get this extremely light, subtly sweet cardamom-y lingering taste in your mouth.
We do not believe in delivering pre baked and stored desserts. We would start making once you place the order.
Watalappan has the following ingredients:

Once you place an order of the watalappan, we would give you a call to apprise you on the time we would take to make it and thereafter, deliver it. Generally, it takes at least 1.5 hours to make it from scratch and then chill it for at least 2-3 hours.
